Dolly is sponsored in memory of Julie, with the wish that she will be as loved and adored for many years, as Julie was.

Dolly was born July 3, 2026 into a local farm breeding situation. When it was discovered that she was unable to walk (and could not be sold with the rest of the litter) she was surrendered to an advocate for discarded mill dogs. We were contacted to see if we could help Dolly out and we welcomed her into our care.

She is under the medical supervision of Kingsdale Animal Hospital. It is suspected that she has neosporosis, and testing has been done to determine if this in fact what she has. Dolly’s xrays also show an abnormality with her spine that is also being looked into as well. We are hopeful to have some solid answers in the next week.

Dolly is a happy and very active puppy that does not let anything stand in her way. She has no idea anything is wrong with her, and she can do pretty much everything any other 9-week-old puppy can do, except walk on all four paws. She scoots and shuffles her way along and is remarkable fast too! Dolly is exploring the world around her, making friends with the other dogs in the foster home and enjoying life to its fullest.
