Sponsored by Jennifer Watson – in memory of my rescue bichon, Oliver, and in appreciation for all that fosters do
Annie is a beautiful 6-year-old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel who is ready to begin her new life as a cherished companion. She weighs 18 lbs, is vaccinated, spayed, and in good health. She has the gentle, affectionate temperament Cavaliers are known and loved for.
Despite coming from a breeding situation, Annie has remained incredibly loving and forms strong bonds with her people. She has absolutely no concept of personal space and is happiest curled up beside you—or better yet, on you. Annie was clearly meant to be adored — and she knows it
Annie at a glance:
• 18 lbs, vaccinated, spayed, and healthy
• Extremely affectionate and deeply bonded to her people
• Fur as soft as a bunny
• Good with older kids
• Can be bossy with other dogs but also enjoys cuddling them
• Still working on house training and improving with routine
• Vocal and will bark when people pass by
• Fully expects to sleep in your bed
Annie thrives on companionship and would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. Being close to her person is what makes her feel safe and secure
Although Annie is very friendly and loves greeting people, she has begun to show some resource guarding behaviors, likely stemming from her past. With calm handling, clear boundaries, and gentle, consistent guidance, she is already learning that she doesn’t need to protect what’s hers. She will do best with a patient adopter who can continue helping her build confidence and trust.
She is a true head-turner and a devoted companion who will happily follow you wherever life takes you.
