Angel now Angie Stone
Angie is a sweet girl with a curious and playful disposition. Her love of adventure is only trumped by her love of play. Angie will spend hours wrestling and running with her foster dog sister. She also loves a good cuddle afterwards.
Angie has no problem settling in a new environment. She’s a confident young lady but she also has a sensitive side. She loves to be close to her people.
Angie really wants to meet her foster cat siblings, but they aren’t quite willing yet. Angie will sit sweetly, staring at them and whimpering for them to come out. She exhibits no prey drive.
Contrary to Angie’s accident, she has healed well and there really isn’t any sign of it. This girl is tough!
She does have what we think is a hernia. We are waiting on a vet appointment to have it checked out.
Angie’s foster family has to be on the ball as she sees everything as a potential chew toy. She is after all, only one. But Angie will give up what ever she gets easily. An adopter will have to be willing to teach her what is hers and what is not.
Angie knows sit, stay is pretty good for a young babe. But she does have a puppy brain, so she is easily distracted.
Angie is a good learner though and will easily learn if the time is put in.
This lil wrestling superstar is house trained, but expect a few mistakes as she is settling in. Crate’s are not scary to her, she’s confident and comfortable with them. Her foster Mom has no problem leaving her to go to work or run errands as Angie will settle in and catch up on much needed zzzzzz’s.
Angie is decent on a leash but still pulls a bit.
Angie is good at taking cues from her foster sister and has no interest in running off on her own. She’s happiest with her pack.
Angie is very good in the car, making her an exceptional road tripper.
She hasn’t met children yet, but her sweet, goofy disposition will no doubt make her a great buddy for a little human. She is a bull in a china shop, so careful supervision is necessary. Not for fear of intentionally hurting them, just because she’s full of beans and is still in the mouthing stage.
Angies’s foster Mom says she doesn’t have an aggressive bone in her body. She’s a party girl, and in the words of Cyndi Lauper, Girls Just Wanna Have Fun!!
Angie does not show any major signs of separation anxiety.
As Angie is young, her energy is high. She does best with another dog to call her best friend.
Angie’s coat is beautiful and short, very shepherd’y. Her shedding is moderate.
Angie’s foster Mom & her dog have completely fallen in love with her goofy, sweet, lovable disposition. Any family would be lucky to call her theirs.
