Rich has been adopted!

Sponsored by Dylan, who has been working hard to collection donations for Save Me. Thank you Dylan!!

Rich has left his past behind him and is only looking forward to life with his forever family. Since arriving at his foster home, he as shown himself to be a happy, fun loving and playful young boy. Rich’s favourite thing to do is play with his foster family or with his toys. He prefers to play over napping any day!

It appears Rich has not had a lot of training as he does not know basic commands but he is housetrained, crate trained and walks very well on a leash. He does jump up (and give kisses whether you want them or not) so a home with young children is not ideal. His ideal forever family will take him to basic obedience classes to help him learn some manners and basic commands. Taking training classes together will also be a great bonding experience for Rich and his family.

Rich loves to sit on the front porch or watch the world go by through the front window. He gets excited and will bark when people come to the house or as people walk in front of the house.
Since Rich is still young, he is very active. Rich loves to go for walks and going for a couple good walks per day as well as playing fetch (which he loves to do) in a fenced in backyard which will burn some energy to help keep him out of trouble!

Rich would do well with an active family with no young children and that is home most of the day to help Rich burn some of that puppy energy. He would do well as an only dog or with a home with other dogs. He is currently in a foster home with other dogs and does well. He has not been exposed to cats.
