Ollie has been adopted.
Hi everyone! My name is Ollie!
I’m an 8 year old sweet as sugar, shih tzu! I just came on on 14 hour car ride to become Canadian, but it was ok because I LOVE car rides!!! They’re my favourite.
I’m not much of a barker. In fact my foster parents haven’t heard a peep out of me except a funny little yawn. I get along just fine with my new foster sister who is older than me and pretty low key.
I also LOVE to go for walks and if I do say so myself am pretty great on a leash. I also love to snuggle on the couch and am content to spend most of my time there. I tried jumping up and sleeping at the bottom of my foster parents’ bed last night, but apparently my sister sleeps in a dog bed, so I have to too. But that’s ok, I just jumped in the cozy little dog bed they had in their bedroom and slept through the night.
My only real hang up is separation anxiety. I don’t like being crated or penned up—but geez, who does?! I haven’t been left alone here yet, and haven’t had any accidents inside. But sometimes in my last house when I was left alone, I admittedly made some mistakes–but between you and me, I just wanted attention. For this reason, I’m looking for a home where someone is with me throughout the day and where I’m going to get lots of love and attention! I’d really love to score a great retired couple!
If I sound like I’d be a good match for you, please let me know!
p.s.- I’m pretty indifferent to both kids and cats.
