Meet Sharlene
This sweet girl is the definition of gentle, loving, and absolutely adorable. She is the sweetest dog who loves nothing more than being close to her people. She can be timid when she first meets you, but she warms up quickly once she feels safe and comfortable. Because of her gentle and timid nature, she would do best in a calm home with older children who understand how to be patient and gentle with her.
With her cutest little face and curious personality, she is discovering the world around her one new experience at a time. As a former mill mama, so many things are still new to her, but she is learning and blossoming beautifully. Her favourite place in the world right now is curled up on the couch beside her foster mom, soaking up all the love and comfort she deserves.
She happily and peacefully shares her foster home with her foster sister and would also be comfortable living with a cat. She is learning to walk on a leash and is doing wonderfully! She is also housetrained.
At night, she loves sleeping on her foster mom’s bed or in her dog bed. She loves playing with toys and is especially happy to settle in with a good bone to chew.
Sharlene is looking for a very special human who has the time, patience, and lots of love to give her. She needs someone who will allow her to continue discovering the world at her own pace and show her that she is finally safe, cherished, and loved.
She has already come so far, and watching her confidence grow is incredibly special. In return for your patience and love, she will give you her trust, her heart, her adorable little face, and a lifetime of cuddles.
