Sponsored by Toba, in honour of Toby and Penny. Every fur baby deserves a loving home and happiness.
Rachel is the perfect couch potato and loves spending her days relaxing on the couch or cuddling beside her foster family in bed. If given the chance, she’ll happily hop onto a lap for snuggles — and might even sneak in a little kiss!
She is a very relaxed girl who enjoys soaking up the sun outside while keeping a close eye out for potential “predators” — especially squirrels!
Due to her small size and calm personality, she may also be a wonderful fit for apartment living.
She will need a fully fenced yard, as she loves following her nose and exploring new terrain. Because her curiosity can easily distract her, she is not suited for off-leash walks.
She does bark to announce new visitors, but not excessively. She greets new people with tail wags and happily accepts pets.
She is calm, chill, and easygoing. She walks beautifully on leash and does not pull. She has quickly learned that walks are fun and now excitedly wags her tail whenever the leash comes out.
She is fully house-trained and has not had any accidents since her first day in foster care, when she briefly confused the carpet for grass — oops!
She is a bit timid around cats and prefers to avoid them. She can also be a little nervous around other dogs. While she will politely say hello, she generally prefers to continue on her walk rather than socialize.
