Sponsored by Lesley Clairmont because every dog deserves care and good home.
Trish is a gentle, sweet former puppy mill mama who is finally getting to experience what it means to just be a dog. And let us tell you… she is blossoming.
She is officially the easiest foster we’ve ever had (yes, really!). Trish is calm, low-maintenance, and incredibly loving. She’s learned to go up and down stairs and is starting to understand that business happens outside. We recently went on her first real walk, and after a few unsure steps, she figured it out — and even proudly did her business outdoors like a champ.
She has discovered something else she absolutely loves: walking in the snow! There’s something about it that brings out her quiet joy.
Trish is wonderful with gentle children. She doesn’t mind being hugged, having her little face held, or participating in supervised “kid stuff.” She is patient and tolerant, as long as interactions are kind and respectful.
Because of her past, she can still be a bit timid in new or overwhelming situations. For that reason, she would do best in a calm, quieter home rather than a busy or noisy household. She thrives in a predictable environment where she can continue building confidence at her own pace.
She is still working on house training, and her new family will need to continue helping her build consistent routines in her new home. She is learning and making progress, but patience and structure will be important as she adjusts.
She may politely beg for a little human food (we’re working on that!!), but overall she is incredibly easygoing and eager to be near her people.
Trish is ready for her forever home — a peaceful place where she can keep learning, feel safe, and enjoy snowy strolls and cozy cuddles.
If you’re looking for a soft, gentle soul who just wants love and stability, Trish might be your girl.
