Poppy is a sweet and affectionate two-year-old. At 21 lbs, she may look bigger in photos, but she’s truly a small-to-medium girl who loves other dogs and people.
She is curious and playful, and is happy when she has a stuffy toy or a window to look out of (she takes her neighborhood-watching duties very seriously). She is fully house trained, sleeps soundly in her crate, and even chooses to go into it on her own. She loves a cozy dog bed and is very quiet.
She is learning manners, and she’ll need a family to help her understand that the outside world is not a scary place. She takes time to feel comfortable in new surroundings. Her confidence grows every day and she adjusts quickly.
Born with a deformed foot, Poppy doesn’t let it slow her down. Her vet says it’s nothing to worry about, and she runs, explores, and plays just like any other dog.
Poppy has been around cats and older children and is fine with both.
Poppy will bring her forever family so much joy, love, and more snuggles than you could ever hope for.
