Sponsored in celebration of our (Sue and Dan) wedding anniversary, Love Sue
Meet Georgia, a 4-year-old mini poodle with soft blonde fur and a big heart. Playful, energetic, and endlessly motivated by cuddles, she’ll stand on her back legs and place her paws on you for love. Georgia loves car rides, is fully house trained, and would be happiest sleeping in the same room as her people at night.
In her foster home, Georgia has done well with another small dog. Because she was nippy in her first few days, she would be best with older kids or adults, but once she feels safe she’s incredibly affectionate. She’s met a cat calmly, showing no barking or prey drive. With another dog, she learned to respect boundaries, even when the other was dominant.
Georgia walks politely on leash most of the time, though she does bark at strangers on walks and when she hears new noises. She is not suited for apartment living. She needs a detached home with a fenced yard. She does not tolerate a crate, and she has some separation anxiety (barking/howling when left alone), so a family that is home often would be ideal. With consistency and some obedience training, Georgia will blossom into the most loving, loyal companion.
