Brandy is a wonderfully sweet girl with the most expressive ears and the cutest grinchy feet. She loves nothing more then being close to her person but also does well crated during the work day.

She would love a family that let her sleep in their bed a night and cuddle on the couch, when they are home, she wants to spend all her time with her people. Brandy would do fine with a laid back dog friend in her home or as an only pet. She is very focused on her person but looks to the resident dog in her foster home for reassurance. At this time Brandy is more comfortable with women then men. Although she has been polite with the resident cat in her foster home with close monitoring, Brandy would prefer no cats in her forever home.

Brandy is timid initially but warms up to people in no time, she would do fine in a home with older children that will respect her initial need for space. She is not dog food/treat motivated although she does like cucumbers, apples and blueberries. People using her name and giving lots of praise is her favourite reward. She travels well in the car and is a great passenger.

Brandy has had no accidents in her foster home and enjoys going out for walks. She is working on building her confidence meeting people and dogs on walks and would benefit from some basic obedience training classes to help increase her confidence and her bond with her person.

Brandy is sweet affectionate and easy to love. She will give her forever family endless love in return and make every day brighter.
