Meet Yogi Bear, a sweet 4 year old, neutered male, 12 pound shitzu mix.
Yogi has come from a high kill shelter in Ohio. He was a stray wandering the streets in which his little coat was so matted he needed to be shaved. He has settled into his foster home very well.
He has a healthy appetite (and needs to be watch around those ‘pic-nic baskets’), walks excellent on a leash, sleeps through the night on his foster parents bed, is house trained and crate trained. Yogi is a happy, social guy that would do extremely well as a Wal-Mart greeter. He greets all people and dogs with his tail wagging and a jump in his step to say HELLO! His foster mom has to warn the people walking towards them as Yogi is on a mission when he sees someone new….a mission to greet!
In the evenings, Yogi loved to lay in his foster families arms, receive tummy rubs and just simply hang out. Yogi is very underweight and has been diagnosesed with diabetes. He will be in REHAB until his glucose levels are under control and he has gained some weight.
