Sylvie has been adopted.
Sylvie is a healthy two year old English Foxhound who is currently in rehabilitation to help her overcome her anxiety towards strangers- specifically men, and to improve leash skills.
A truly wonderful girl, she is both crate and house trained. Sylvie can be left in the house unattended without incident and is eager to please. She also happens to let her parents know when nature calls! At present, she lives with 3 other dogs, two cats and a chinchilla.
Silly, as her family have nicknamed her, has a funny goofy side to her and enjoys putting her nose to the ground to smell all the wonders of nature in typical hound fashion. Our pretty girl loves toys and hoards shoes but thankfully does not chew them – she’s just a typical girl who loves her shoes. To add to her charm, she also snores!
Sylvie is learning skills from her canine foster sisters and brother and her parents feel she would do best in a home with another dog that she can imitate, older children and a woman in her life. That said, small children seem to frighten her at present.
As she continues to grow and gain confidence, Save Me will move her to the adoptable list. Please don’t hesitate to contact her foster moms for an update on her progress as Sylvie is learning by the day. She is an absolutely lovely girl and deserves the best, and to become the best dog she can be.
