SweetPea

SweetPea has been adopted!

Sponsored by Debbie, in celebration of Stefan P’s birthday!

One can’t help but wonder, how does Sweetpea keep getting over looked? She’s SWEET, well behaved, calm and is looking for a quiet place to spend her afternoons napping and her evenings walking with her new family.

This lovely girl greets her foster mom with a bum wiggle and silliness at the end of each work day. She’s always so happy when that door opens and a friendly face appears.

She is house trained, crate trained and also knows some of the basic commands (sit, stay, paw, etc). She is relatively quiet, and only really barks when her foster siblings are being silly or when she can see someone passing by the windows. She has a deep bark that doesn’t match her body, much to her foster mom’s surprise!

SweetPea is currently on a weight-loss program and could benefit having someone to share that journey with. She would love to be a walking partner and stroll the neighbourhood a few times a day. She does pull, it’s very likely she was not walked much in her previously life, so a harness is used to help her out.

SweetPea would be best suited in a home with no other dogs, she prefers some calmness and order in her life and doesn’t appreciate the antics of other fur friends, OR with another low key calm dog. She would love to be with an active person(s) who will not mind several walks a day.

SweetPea was lovingly fostered by Dione
