Smooches has been adopted.
Smooches is a fantastic little girl who loves giving and receiving attention to and from those she loves. Smooches is a minimal barker, when paired with her size is great for apartment dwellers. She is great with other dogs and loves to play! Smooches is also good with cats.
Smooches is not a big chewer of personal items and can be left alone during the day. That said, she does love her people and her walks, flowers, and sunshine so would benefit from lots of outdoor time!Our little lady recently had surgery on both hips and is recovering nicely but will still need a bit of continued at-home physio therapy, so will need a family who is comitted to helping her feel strong and healthy.
Though Smooches can be timid and shy initially with new people, she catches on very quickly to who shows her attention, and has the treats and will love her new family very quickly. She is especially cuddly and loves to give kisses. At this time, Smooches is mostly house-trained, but will need routine and consistency to maintain her training.
We asked Smooches what she is looking for in a new family, and this is what she told us:
· She would love a doggy friend, but a dog sibling that is tolerant of her playful energy and/or has a similar energy style as her. She may do ok as the only dog as well if her people are home most of the time
· No young children
· Parent/parents that are able to spend a lot of time with her
