Precious little Sassy is very scared and very unsure of what is going on. A family separation has left her without a home and without a family. She did not handle the shelter environment very well and was very withdrawn and depressed.
She is good with other dogs, good with kids and seems to ignore cats. She’s super sweet and really needs some love and understanding (and a lot of cuddles) as she adjusts to her new life. Her ears perk when you speak to her and her tail doesn’t stop wagging, but she is VERY timid when you reach for her to pick her up. She is happy to follow you all over the house and yard. She seems to be house trained and appears to also use a pee pad. She’s very quiet, though does softly whimper when left alone.
