Pepper has been adopted!
My name is Pepper and I am approximately 2-3 years old. I am a fun loving, happy go lucky girl. I love the company of my companions and can often be found by my foster mama’s side.
My favourite things to do are to go for walks and play with my ball and toys. I do not like to be crated, but I am good when left in the kitchen with baby gates. And, I am fully house trained and will let you know when I need to go out to do my business. I love lying on the back of the couch watching the world go by – best views!
I am also working on being ok with my mom leaving me behind. I sometimes cry loudly to let her know I am missing her but by the time she comes home I’m fast asleep, laying in the sun. I have learned that she always comes back to me, so each time she goes, I get a bit less nervous each time! (Mom says I am improving every day!) I also love to talk to you when we go for walks or if you are about to walk out the door. I make the silliest noises.
I am great with children and want to snuggle with them and give them lots of kisses. I also enjoy other dogs as I currently have two foster fur siblings that are much older than me. I respect that they no longer want to play and give them their space but you can find me snuggled beside them for a nap. I am a bit of an escape artist so the front door will need to be guarded at all times so I don’t go exploring on my own (just want to figure out where foster mama keeps going)
What does my ideal family look like? Let me make a small list for you:
· Couch sitting should be ok so I can share tv time with you
· Be sure to have a bed big enough for me to join you!
· Someone who loves walks as much as I do
· A fur-sibling please! Keeps me from being alone. I love dogs!
· Sense of humor a must! I am funny and am looking for the laughs!
