Otis has just arrived into foster care this weekend. He is already settling in well to the house and getting along great with the resident dog. Otis is a bit on the thin side at this point, but shows a great love of his food and will hopefully continue to put on weight. Otis’ foster family looks forward to continuing to get to know him and will update his profile as they learn more about his personality.
Otis was found as a stray in very poor condition. He was near death from starvation and dehydration, weighing only 25 pounds. Thanks to the wonderful Staff at Hardin, he received the emergency vet care needed to save his life. He has gained 13 pounds while in their care and is now ready to move into rescue. He will not be available for adoption immediately as we would like to help him gain a bit more wait before being neutered.
At some point in his life someone has taken the time to train Otis, he is great on leash, housebroken and has wonderful canine social skills. We are looking forward to getting to know Otis better, and cannot thank the Hardin Staff enough for taking such good care of him.
