My name is Miss Lola (Lola for short) !

I’m a super sweet girl who would love someone to hang out with, go for long walks/hikes. I’m also fine with just lying around on the couch.

My foster mom says I’ll fit in just about anywhere but I do get a little excited around kids and jump up. I need some guidance in this area.

For the most part I’m a confident girl who enjoys my own space at times. I’m fully crate and house trained, I shake a paw, sit and down. I’m working on ‘stay’ and would benefit from the ‘place’ command. We’re also working on ‘out’. I’m a fast learner! I love to play Tug games and am learning the ‘art’ of the game and how to work on my impulse control.

My leash skills are coming along but I am a strong girl and will need a calm assertive adult to walk me.

I was rudely approached recently by an off leash not so dog friendly dog. I let the dog know who was boss and that was that! No messing around with me! My foster mom was impressed with the way I handled the situation.

Bye for now!

Lola

Note from Lola’s foster mom:

If you’re looking for a dog you can bring right into your home and have a great transition, Lola is the girl for you. She has been great with our barn/house cat.

Lola has been here less than a week and her personality is still unfolding. She’s seems to be getting a bit more at ease everyday. There are times when she wants her space and we respect that. If she is pushed to do anything she will retreat.

I believe she will be a very bonded and loyal girl.
