Justice

Justice has been adopted!

Justice has been sponsored by Marilyn in honour of Phoenix

Meet Justice! Her foster family lovingly refer to her and “Grandma J” because she putters along doing her own thing. She likes a slow paced orderly life with regular walks and sprinkled with naps in the sun. Justice isn’t a mushy dog who will require your full attention, she’s happy doing her own thing. Her idea of a perfect Sunday afternoon would be snoozing near her person while they read or tend to gardening.

Justice sailed through her recent surgeries and is now ready to find her forever family. As our vet suspected, the growths that were removed were nothing of concern. Her dental went well and she needed fewer extractions (6) than we thought would be necessary. Justice has recovered beautifully from a recent spay and remains on her weight loss program. Losing a few more pounds will help her enjoy optimum health moving forward.

She is a sweet girl who takes life as it comes. She is house trained and does well with other dogs, but prefers not to be in the company of cats. Her ideal home would be one in which she is the centre of attention. Justice enjoys several walks a day, we’re slowly increasing the lengths of these walks as she looses weight.

Justice has finished antibiotics for Lyme disease and her future vet will need to know that she did receive the recommended dose of doxycycline as dogs who have had Lyme disease can carry the antigen for years in the blood even though they have been cured of the actual illness. Upon adoption we are happy to have all of the vet records for Justice, while in our, care sent to her new veterinary clinic.

She is a very sweet and loving girl, who will be very dedicated to her people. She would be an ideal companion for a active senior.

Justice was lovingly fostered by Uyen and Colleen
