Hershey is a male yorkie who came to his foster home very underweight and with very little fur.
He came into rescue at 9 years old ,, but he does not know he is that old ,, he still behaves like little a puppy. His foster parents wanted to change is name to Roo, as he can jump like a kangaroo ! He loves car rides and snuggling on your lap or under blankets to keep warm.
He lives with other foster brothers and sisters and does well. He is not caged during the day as he is not destructive and is pee pad trained. I think once the weather warms up, Hershey could be convinced to be housetrained ! Hershey wants to be a big dog, and will climb to sit on the back of a couch or chair to convince himself he is not a little guy at 2lbs. Hershey enjoys meal time and can be quite vocal when you are preparing his meals ! Hershey would do best in a home with no small children because of his size.
