Henry

He loves to walk (more like prance) around the neighbourhood and always surprises his foster mom with his deep bark whenever he sees another dog. He also loves to leave his mark on every tree!

Henry is best suited in a home where he can be given the attention that he craves and deserves, preferably with a family where someone is home during the day. He gets along extremely well with his foster brother and simply follows his lead. He would do best in a family with older children since he is an attention seeker and enjoys being the baby of the family.

Henry enjoys spending his time cuddling on the couch with his foster family (he’s definitely a lap dog) and following his foster mom wherever she goes, including sleeping in her bed at night. Henry dislikes the vacuum cleaner!

Henry has a hearty appetite and, besides his kibble, his favourites are chicken, cheese, pizza crust and bagels! He is also a messy eater and often enjoys being hand fed his kibble.

Henry is a dog that simply aims to please. He responds to his name and listens well. He deserves a family that is suited just for him and who is just as eager to welcome Henry into their home as he is to be the centre of their family.
It is unknown whether Henry would do well with cats. Henry gets along well with his foster brother who is the same size although he does struggle for his foster mom’s attention. For that reason he may do best in a home without other pets or with a very gentle older dog.
