Dogs

Grace

Grace has been adopted!

Sponsored by Terri M. in honour of her late furries Harley and Lily

Grace is a 10 year old cancer survivor !

Grace could be the poster child for why it is important to spay female dogs.  As is all too common in unspayed dogs, Grace developed mammary tumors and unfortunately one of them was a malignancy.  Grace had successful and extensive surgery and there is no evidence of disease now. She healed and recovered beautifully and we are hoping this is all now behind her.  However there is no way to know if she has been cured and what her overall prognosis is.  Grace could go on to live a full and healthy life and that is our hope but not a certainty.  We are hoping her special person is out there and will give her the life she deserves even though there is some uncertainty about her future.  All Grace’s medical records, since she was pulled from the shelter, and histopathology reports are available should anyone want more detailed information.

Grace loves to be with her humans and have her chest rubbed and snuggle.   She is good with other dogs and children. She is a happy girl , very friendly with everyone.

Grace is very food motivated and will come on command.  Grace had no transition issues into her foster home , she adjusted immediately to her new surroundings and four legged foster sisters and brothers !

Would u like to offer Grace a home to live out her retirement years ?

Grace was loving fostered by John & Carey
