Grace has been adopted!
Grace is sponsored to wish Happy Father’s Day to Howard – with love from his pups
Grace was one of several dogs rescued from a backyard breeder/puppy mill recently. She was scared and shy and stayed in her crate for the first while. Once comfortable, she started to explore and enjoy ear and belly rubs. Grace is so sweet and gentle and would appreciate someone home with her, or another pup to keep her company.
Grace is working on housetraining and is progressing well. She is getting used to spending time in the crate during the day, but does bark when left alone. At night, she sleeps quietly in her crate in her fosters room. She is fine with the resident cat.
Grace is getting used to car rides and walking on a leash. She is shy when meeting new people and will need slow intros. Grace is sometimes startled by loud noises and sudden movements, and we continue to help build her confidence. She loves to wander and explore in the yard.
She is such a sweetheart and a family willing to giver her time to adjust will enjoy seeing her blossom into a loving and playful girl.
