Feona is aadopted!
Feona / Female / Spayed / Pug-Schnauzer mix / 6 years old / 16 Lbs
Feona is an adorable girl full of personality who is schnauzer and pug! First impressions. She’s happy and friendly and very social. She came into her foster home and immediately got along with the other dogs, big and small. We are however looking for a home with no cats.
She’s a quiet girl for the most part. When her foster parents leave for work, she does bark for a bit but then soon settles. Feona is good with children and fairly active. She’s super playful and loves to cuddle with you. She is just such a happy girl!
When we pulled Feona, we had been told she had glaucoma. After three sets of glaucoma tests and visual examinations with our vet, it does not appear that she has glaucoma at all! Though there is some scaring in her right cornea, without knowing her full history, our vet cannot say for sure whether this is new or old or what the cause was. The good news is, we have been monitoring it, and it does not appear to be changing. Feona does have a case of mild dry eye, which may be the result of whatever caused the scarring. This will require drops, which may be beneficial throughout her life, but could be reassessed by the adopter’s veterinarian. As always, all notes from our vets will be available to the adopters for their records.
For more information on Feona, please contact her foster mom Colleen at email@example.com
Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
