Hi! My name is Fantasia, but my foster mom likes to call me Fanny because she says it suits my personality better! I’m a 1 – 2 year old shepherd x girl all the way from Kentucky.

My foster mom says that I have excellent house manners. I know how to sit and wait for treats, I’m great on a leash, I’m house and crate trained (no accidents for me!), I’m a polite eater and enjoy meal time with my foster sister Roo – I’m a great sharer! Speaking of my foster sister, I LOVE playing and running outside with her and playing tug-of-war with our toys inside. I would really love to have a fur brother or sister, but it’s not completely necessary as I’m quite the cuddlebug and would be happy being your one and only as well. I haven’t been cat tested, so I’m not sure how I would do around cats. Because of my size, I would be fine around respectful children 12 years and older – when I get excited I can jump and I don’t want to knock anyone over (foster mom has been working on this with me).

My ideal home would also have a large, fenced in backyard for me to play in as I have a fair amount of energy to burn – I still have some puppy left in me! I’m fairly quiet, but I do bark occasionally if I see another dog walk by the window, or I see a squirrel outside.

I am a very healthy girl, but I did come up to Canada with a bit of a bacterial skin infection, which is being treated with antibiotics and medicated baths – it’s looking better already and should be healed up soon! My forever family can continue my treatment if I’m adopted prior to finishing my antibiotics.

I can’t wait to meet you forever family! I have lots of love and kisses to give you when I meet you!

– Fanny
