Daphne is adopted
Sponsored by Erica B. with love from our two Save Me dogs, Sadie and Manny
Daphne is a sweet, gentle and shy girl who is looking for the right family and fur sibling to give her the life she deserves.
Daphne arrived at an Ohio shelter over a month ago, a shy and timid girl who despite her shyness showed the staff that she was gentle, kind and ready to learn to love humans. It was quickly realized that the way to Daphne’s heart is through the companionship of other dogs. A confident and social dog companion is an absolute must in Daphne’s new life. Daphne is wonderful with dogs of all ages and sizes and loves to play, cuddle and learn with them. Through watching other dogs, Daphne gains confidence in approaching and interacting with people as well.
Daphne has come a long way since first coming to the shelter. Although she has only been with her Canadian foster mom for a very short time she accepts being petted, loves her long walks and follows her foster mom from room to room. When relaxing and watching tv or reading Daphne prefers to sit next to her foster mom on the couch instead of on her own. Daphne is respectful and accepting of the resident cat in her foster home.
Daphne is house trained and crate trained, she knows her name and how to sit for a treat. She needs a family that will enjoy watching her grow and transform on a daily basis and help her through her moments when she is fearful and unsure. Daphne would do best in a calm and quiet home with older children who are respectful of giving her the time and space she needs.
Daphne is a very very special girl who has so much love to give and is looking for a family to show her the way, encourage her when she is afraid and celebrate her new experiences. Daphne has so much love to give to both her human and fur family members and the right family will be very lucky to welcome this special girl
