Crunchy has been adopted!
Sponsored by Janet, in honour of Save Me. I am so thankful for having Kelly, who we adopted in 2014
Crunchy was surrendered to an American shelter after his owner passed away and nobody else in the family could step up for him. In his kennel, he appeared to be scared and shy, but yet his gentle side always shone through his fear. As soon as he arrived in his foster family, Crunchy’s true self blossomed. After he gathered the courage to step out of his carrier, he jumped up on the couch and made himself right at home.
Crunchy is looking for someone who will give him the simple, comfortable life he deserves. He loves watching TV with his humans, long naps, toys, his raw food meals and treat time. He is currently living with three other small dogs and has initiated play with them on several occasions. He would do well with well-behaved canine siblings, but could also be an only dog… he loves the attention!
As the weather gets warmer, Crunchy’s house training has greatly improved. The majority of the time, he will do his business outside. If he cannot make it, he will use a pad. His new family will have to show patience towards this aspect of his transition into his new home as he might have accidents at first. However, he does not mark.
Crunchy sleeps in his crate at night, but he would also love to join you under the blankets if you’d let him. He can sometimes be noisy when you leave your home, so he would not be suited for an apartment. However, he is not destructive.
As long as he is loved and feels safe, he will be the happy boy his foster parents just cannot get enough of!
Crunchy was lovingly fostered by Marilyne and Jason
