Coco has an application in progress
Coco has been sponsored by Tracie K.
Coco & Chanel came from an indigenous reserve in Northern Ontario. They were rescued by a group that works with Northern communities. Save Me Rescue is proud to be a partner in finding amazing forever homes for these puppies. They are called ‘Nordic mixes’ and often have a mix of Husky, Sheppard and Lab, but you never really know what you are going to get! In our experience they grow into dogs with lovely personalities who do best with active families.
Coco & Chanel can be excitable and calm and playful. They are submissive around our medium dogs. They are social and play very well with each other and their toys with toys.
They had their first vaccinations and dewormer the day after they arrived, on Oct 27. Given their current size, they will likely grow to be medium size dogs, but we can’t say for sure what they will weigh. They are shepherd mix and will require an active family.
The ideal home would have someone home during the day and that is willing to provide the necessary training that a young puppy requires. It is highly recommended that they attend puppy classes to learn basic skills and socializing. Untrained larger breed puppies, become a handful later on, if they do not know what is expected of them, both in behavior and social skills with other dogs.

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
