Chellah

Chellah has been adopted!

Sponsored by Cheryl, in honour of Jade and her safe return

Bonjour!!  My name is Cheelah and I have just arrived from Quebec.  I’m a 9 year sweet Shih tzu found as a stray.  Since arriving with my foster family I have been feeling better with each day.  You won’t believe this but I had a bubble bath and boy did that feel good.  My foster mom told me I have beautiful soft fur.  I have been enjoying my first few days sleeping in a big comfy dog bed with lots of blankets.  I was tired after the long ride from Quebec so I slept for the first two days but now Im having fun!!  I love to eat and enjoy treats, stuffy toys and laying on the deck.  I had the best chewie yesterday….a pizzle stick!!!  My foster  mom can  take the treats  when I’m chewing it and it does not bother me.  At my foster home I am living with 3 small dogs and we all get along however  I am intimidated by big dogs  My foster mom is treating my eyes for infection right now but everyday I think I can see a little more but I do have vision loss.  Due to my vision loss I startle easily with quick movements so my foster mom believes my ideal family would be without children less than 12 years of age and a low energy household. I also dont seem to hear much but that does not stop me as I do have pep and I am even starting to play.  I have been on walks in the neighbourhood and do my business outside. When I am at home I am not crated as I just relax and sleep in my bed.  I have not barked yet but I may in time.  If you would like more information about me please email my foster mom Nicole.
As I am waiting to be spayed my mom has put in rehab but open to be contacted about  me and would welcome applications.
Merci!! Chellah
