Chanel in adopted!
Sponsored by Lynda H., in celebration of her daughter’s 50th birthday. Happy Birthday Tracy!!!!!
Chanel and (possibly her daughter) Coco were found in a park in Ohio. The girls had been zipped up in a duffel bag and left behind, an obvious act of cruelty. Both girls were in rough shape at the time they were discovered.
Despite what she has been through, Chanel is a very loving girl. She seeks the attention of her foster family above the other pets in the home. She gets along with other dogs and doesn’t pay attention to cats, but she seems to focus more on the people then the fur friends in the home.
Chanel is listed as in rehab as her foster family gets to know her. She is just settling in, so it’s hard to tell her true personality at this time. She seems very anxious when left alone, will whimper and bark. She is otherwise quiet. She has had no accidents in the house, but did in her crate on the first night.. though that may have been stress in the new environment. She does well on a leash and is easy to bath.
She has recently had her dental done with included some extractions. She is a little on the thin side, so her foster home is working on her weight.

Please note that while we continue to get to know each of our dogs, their biographies will be updated with additional information, so make sure to check back once in a while!
