UPDATE: Miss Ava is now feeling like a queen!! Ava has had her dental surgery and is now dancing!! Ava is full of spice and the most affectionate little beagle. She absolutely loves people and dogs and greets them all with a wagging tale. She has gained a few pounds and definitely has a new lease on life. Miss Ava has arrived from Kentucky! This gorgeous beagle is 7 years old and a little love bug. She displays the typical beagle traits: friendly, great with kids and dogs, great nose and loves to smell everything!! Despite a couple of accidents she does all her business outside. She walks well on a harness and leash but does not like to be walked on a collar. Ava is on a foster home with a 9 year old Shih Tzu and two human children ages 7 and 10 and loves them all to bits!
Ava has visible signs of a difficult past. Ava is going to have dental surgery to deal with broken teeth due to chewing on metal cages. Ava has obvious signs of neglect and scars down her neck and spine of scenarios only she knows of. On the bright side she is happy, friendly, loves to snuggle and just keeps wagging!! She LOVES to eat!! Ava is not sure what treats or cookies are but we are slowly teaching her all these great things. Ava is a wonderful family dog who needs a calmer home with older children. She would also do fabulous with just adults too!
