Amy has been adopted!
Meet Amy! A super sweet and loving girl. Amy is a happy go lucky girl who’s tail is always wagging and bum always wiggling.
Amy loves people, dogs and pretty much everything. There’s not much this sweet little girl doesn’t like.
Amy would do well with people of all ages. She is particularly great with children and would love a home with kids to give her all the love and attention she deserves. She also really enjoys the company of other dogs and would love another canine companion to spend her days with.
Amy does not know her basic commands but she is extremely food motivated and is learning very quickly. She has already learned to sit and her foster mom as no doubt she’ll know all her basic commands in no time.
Amy appears to be house-trained. Although she prefers to do her business outside, she is still learning how to let people know she needs to go outside. She is being let out regularly and is doing great. She is crated during the day with no accidents and not being crated at night with no accidents.
Amy is respectful in the home and has shown no destructive behaviour. However she is being crated when her foster family leaves the house. But her foster mom feels she could be trusted with free range of the house once she is settled in her surroundings.
Amy doesn’t particularly like the crate and will be vocal when initially put in. Therefore an apartment or condo may not be ideal for her. She would love a home with a nice fenced in yard as she loves to run, play and explore.
Amy walks ok on a leash but being a beagle she loves to follow her nose and can pull from time to time.
Amy is in rehab as she has been sneezing since she has arrived and we are working on determining whether she has a cold or some allergies.
Overall Amy is a fantastic dog and would make a great addition to any family.
