Alphie is a big lovable boy. He went through a stage of being the enforcer, but he’s settled into the big brother to all. He loves to supervise his foster mom as she cleans up their area (hey, someone has to make sure she’s doing right?!). He enjoys his food and loves to flop down for a nap after eating. He is one of the bigger pups and he loves to wrestle with his brothers and sisters.
These nordic babies are a border collie mix and will reach about 50 – 60 lbs in size full grown. (This is an estimate as we are never sure what they mix is, but our veterinarian gave his best guess!) Border Collie dogs are known for their intelligence and energy. They are typically easy to train, great at learning tricks and should be exercised as well as mentally stimulated with tasks and tricks to keep them out of mischief.
