My name is Tyler. I am a five year old greyhound mix. If you are looking for the worlds biggest snuggle bug, look no further!
I came to the rescue after being in a shelter. Unfortunately, there is not much history on me but that doesn’t stop me from loving life. I came to my new foster home a little bit shy. I would sit at the front door and just want out. I wasn’t sure what was happening. After just a few short days, I learned that being in a home is amazing!
I love being outdoors, I love going for walks and being off leash in the backyard and having zoomies. You should see how fast I run! My foster mom calls me a gazelle – I am the fasted dog in the world! I love to run and leap!
In the home I am a very good boy. I am housetrained and if I need to go out, I will let you know. I also love to snuggle. I am always asking for extra cuddles and pets whenever I can. I have a happy “grumble – I like to let my foster parent know when I’m happy and I do little happy grumbles and sighs when I am in her arms and when I am getting pet. Everyone thinks they’re adorable. I just can’t get enough snuggles and pets in and I have amazing puppy eyes so it will be very hard for my new family to resist.
I am a very good boy when my foster parents go to work – I have the whole house to myself, and I just tend to sleep. I don’t ruin or bite anything. When they come home though… my foster dad calls me a “croissant butt” because I get so excited, I don’t even know what my butt does!! It has a mind of its own at that point.
The only thing I ask for in my new home is an owner who can help me continue to learn how to walk properly on leash. I am a very good boy until I see something of interest (like a squirrel or a really good smell). I tend to pull in those situations, and I need someone who can recorrect me. Other than that, I will be the most amazing, loyal dog you have ever met!
