Carly has been adopted!
Sweet Senior Carly is sponsored in memory of Jasper K. with love from the Brodskys
Carly is a 12 + senior girl who is looking for her retirement home. Carly is blind and mostly deaf as well, only hearing very loud noises or dogs barking. When Carly came into foster care, she did not like to be held and was very withdrawn, but as you can see from some of the pictures, this has changed quite a bit. Carly can find her way around her foster home and even goes to the patio door when she needs to go outside. Carly was very thin when she arrived, but she has no problem at all finding her way to her food and water dishes, she is a good eater, so she has put on some much needed weight.
When Carly went to the vet, they thought she might have some minor neurological deficits that present as some repetitive head movement, but this does not stop Carly at all. She is a sweet girl who just needs love and a soft place to rest her head at night. She rides well in the car, you almost forget she is there.
Carly does not bark, so would do okay in an apartment. She lives with other dogs her own size and does well. When Carly’s foster parents go to work, she is left loose in the house with someone stopping in at lunch to let her outside and shower her with affection.
Carly was lovingly fostered by Carey.
