LadyBug has been adopted.
Ladybug is a sweet, affectionate and loving terrier mix who has been through a lot of changes over the last few months. Up until one month ago Ladybug lived on a farm with horses, chickens, cats and 3 other dogs. After the death of their owner, Ladybug her daughters Missy and Muffin and life long friend Duke came to Save Me rescue to search for their forever homes. Although Ladybug is fine with other calm gentle dogs, she is also enjoying being the only dog in her foster home and getting all the attention.
Ladybug has been adapting well to everything and does not seem at all put off by all the recent changes in her life. She has adapted from farm life to city life seamlessly and is fine with cars, leashed walks and city noises.
Even though she is technically a senior Ladybug is young at heart, she loves going for walks and playing fetch. Ladybug can walk for hours and has lots of energy for a dog of her age. Ladybug is fully housetrained and always lets her foster mom know when she needs to go out. She spends her nights sleeping in her crate as well as work days when her foster mom is not home. Ladybug could most likely be trusted uncrated if her forever family decided not to use a crate.
Ladybug is a small dog with a very muscular build. She has an adventurous spirit and a bit of an independent streak. She would probably enjoy a family that would take her on daily walks and include her in their adventures. Ladybug knows her name, but also seems to respond to her initials L.B. and comes running whenever she is called.
She enjoys cuddling with her foster mom and getting lots of pets after a nice long walk or game of fetch. Ladybug would fit in to many different home settings as she loves all people including children
